I am proud and excited to say that my wife, Kelly Evans, has formerly opened her private practice doors. She is doing business as Down to Earth Therapy and specializes in individual, couples and family therapy. Kelly has extensive experience working with people with disabilities.

112 eatery

There are plenty of places that have amazing food that require you to spend $20-30 on and entree along with $10-15 on a glass of wine. One of my top 5 restaurants, 112 eatery, seems to defy that sort of standard. Sure you can get a crazy expensive bottle of wine and an expensive steak, but if you are on a budget you could get a couple $9 burgers and a couple beers. Only problem is getting a place to sit.

I think something like this will be my next tv. The screen is amazingly flat and draws significantly less power than a regular tv. Now if only I could get the oled version I would be in heaven.

Everywhere you go there is a local brewery or maybe more; its universal. I have traveled enough to say I have traveled, and there is always a local brew that tells a story about that locale. Summit, although just one of the local magic makers, is probably my favorite Minneapolis powerhouse.

Next week Summit will release a new concoction, there first in 3 years, and I am pretty excited. It sounds like a beer any hops lover will be interested in. I can only hope it proves to be another great beer from a great local producer.

saturday night live genius

I was totally unaware, perhaps you were too. The brains behind some of the better SNL skits ever (Jizz in My Pants, Lazy Sundy, Ras Trent and Dick In A Box), was a combination of 3 dudes calling themselves Lonely Island. According to their site, the group has known one another since high school. It was great to see some background info about these videos. For some time I have wondered who was writing this red hot materiel. I really was hoping Andy Samberg was one of the writers, just because I like to see comedians who write and perform their own stuff. I got my wish and so much more.

Thanks to Jake for pointing me to the Bing Bong Bros. It lead me to all the wonderful learning on Lonely Island.
